In this match, he hit Anshul Kamboj for 4 consecutive sixes in the 5th over of Lucknow Super Giants’ innings and scored 28 runs in the over with the help of 1 four. Thanks to this, Marsh completed 50 runs in 21 balls with 6 fours and 4 sixes and scored a half-century. Marsh did not stop here and continued scoring runs by hitting fours and sixes.

While receiving the Player of the Match award, Mitchell Marsh said, ‘Look, it’s good to win. This has happened very rarely for us this year. We’ve stuck together as a group and it’s really nice to get a little reward tonight. We have very good people in this group. Some very good young kids and we know we don’t get it right on the field sometimes, but it’s still a very good group. I think sometimes when things aren’t going well, this is the group we have. So it’s really great to win tonight.

He further said, ‘I love playing with Jose Inglis. He definitely feels that the way he plays takes the pressure off me and we’ve obviously grown up together playing for Western Australia over the last eight years or so. So we know each other very well. There was a good partnership tonight. I’ve worked on my game a few times. Josh Inglis had injured his finger a few games ago, so he has taken over this responsibility to some extent. I like being there with the boys.
