Boiled black gram – 2 cups
Finely chopped onion – 1 small cup

Finely chopped coriander – half cup
Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
Chaat masala – 1 tsp
Roasted cumin powder – half teaspoon
Red chilli powder – as per taste
Black salt – as per taste
Pomegranate seeds – 2 tablespoons
Easy way to make protein rich chana chaat
First prepare gram: Add salt to black gram soaked overnight and boil well. Keep in mind that the gram should not be too soaked and its water should drain completely.
Mix the vegetables: Now add boiled gram in a big bowl. After this add onion, tomato, potato and green chilli. Mix everything gently.
Enhance taste with spices: Now add chaat masala, roasted cumin powder, red chilli and black salt. Mix the spices well so that each gram gets equal taste.
Give a healthy twist at the end: Now add fresh lemon juice on top. Then garnish with green coriander and pomegranate seeds. This enhances the taste of chaat and also makes it look attractive.
