UP News: A big public movement has been sounded by Aam Aadmi Party in Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh. To provide employment to the youth and ensure equal rights in the society, the fifth phase of the ‘Do Employment-Do Social Justice’ march was started on Saturday. This yatra was started with much fanfare from Commissionerate Park. Aam Aadmi Party’s Uttar Pradesh in-charge and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh reached Meerut and paid tribute to the martyrs of the country.
Wreathed the statue of former PM
After this, he flagged off this five-day padyatra by garlanding the statue of former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh. This padyatra will start from May 16 to May 20 from Meerut to Ghaziabad. On the very first day of the yatra, huge support was seen from the general public and party workers. At many places on the way, people welcomed the padyatra by showering flowers.
Sanjay Singh’s big attack on paper leak case
While addressing a huge public meeting during the padyatra, MP Sanjay Singh fiercely targeted the policies of the government. He said that today the youth of the state are wandering from door to door in search of employment. The continuous incidents of paper leaks have completely ruined the future of crores of youth.
We have to come together for our rights
After months of hard work, when the exam time comes, the paper gets leaked. Due to this, there is deep disappointment in the minds of the candidates preparing for the exam. Sanjay Singh said that the youth, Asha daughters, Shikshamitras, employment servants and small shopkeepers will have to come together for their rights. He appealed to all the oppressed sections to become a part of this campaign and raise their voice.
Talk about the rights of small traders and the poor
Sanjay Singh said that in many cities of Uttar Pradesh, small shopkeepers, street vendors and poor families are facing very difficult circumstances to run their livelihood. The poor are becoming poorer due to the wrong policies of the government. Aam Aadmi Party will not let the voices of these poor and destitute people be suppressed. The party is continuously fighting from the streets to the Parliament to protect their rights and dignity. Every citizen of the country has the right to live with dignity and to get this right a big mass movement is needed.
Resolve to protect the Constitution and social justice
Talking on the serious topic of social justice, Sanjay Singh said that even today, incidents of discrimination are coming to light within the society, which are extremely worrying. The Constitution made by Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar has given every citizen of the country the right to live with equality and dignity. Aam Aadmi Party is working to protect and strengthen this constitutional value.
Politics of hatred should end in the country
The politics that spreads hatred in the country has to be ended. Instead of hatred and division, there should be only talk of education, good hospitals, employment and development in the country. On the issue of inflation, he said that the rising prices of petrol, diesel and essential commodities have broken the back of the common people. The government should take immediate action to control the prices.
The first day ended at Brahmapuri metro station.
Sanjay Singh said that the last four phases of this march had also received very good support from the public. This campaign of the party will reach different parts of the state in the coming days so that people can be made aware against corruption, unemployment and social injustice. On the first day, this padyatra started from the Commissionerate Park and reached the Hanuman temple in front of the court.
