New government will be sworn in tomorrow in Kerala, VD Satheesan will take over as Chief Minister, Rahul-Priyanka will attend.
Kerala: Preparations for the formation of the new government in Kerala have been completed. United Democratic Front (UDF) government’s chief ministerial candidate VD Satheesan will take the oath of office and secrecy as chief minister at 10 am on Monday. The ministers of the new cabinet can also take oath along with him. The ceremony will be held at the Central Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram.

Many big Congress leaders will reach Kerala
Many senior Congress leaders are likely to attend the swearing-in ceremony. Many big faces including Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Mallikarjun Kharge can be present among them. Chief Ministers of Congress ruled states will also participate in the program. Congress General Secretary K.C. Venugopal said that the list of ministers will soon be handed over to the Governor. He expressed confidence that the new government will work towards fulfilling the promises made to the people on priority.
Politics heated up even on rhetoric
Meanwhile, politics has also intensified regarding the statement of Vellapalli Natesan. KC Venugopal said that one should have avoided making such inflammatory statements before taking oath. There is enthusiasm among UDF supporters regarding the swearing in of the new government and it is being seen as a major change in the politics of the state.
