The Detroit Pistons avoided elimination in Game 6 and extended the series against the Cleveland Cavaliers to a winner-take-all Game 7confirming just how evenly matched this battle has become.

Individually, Cade Cunningham led the Pistons with 21 points and five made threes, but the win was fueled above all by the collective effort. Jalen Durencoming off recent criticism, delivered his best game of the series with 17 points, while Ausar Thompson filled the stat sheet with 10 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 steals and 1 block.

On the other side, the Cavaliers suffered their first home loss of the playoffs and now find themselves forced into a Game 7. Donovan Mitchell described it as a difficult night, marked by inconsistency and struggles to shift momentum.
