Marcus Stoinis scored 37 runs. Shashank Singh tried till the end to win Punjab. But he got out after playing an important knock of 56 runs.

The RCB bowlers did not allow the Punjab batsmen to stay on the field in the power play. Bhuvneshwar Kumar took the wickets of Priyansh Arya and Prabhasimran Singh in his first over. Rasikh Dar took the wicket of captain Shreyas Iyer. Romario Shepherd takes the wicket of Cooper Connelly. Suyash Sharma dismissed Suyash Shedge. Rasikh Dar dismisses Shashank Sig.

Punjab Kings won the toss and elected to bowl first. Then Virat Kohli and Jacob Bethal came to play for RCB to start the innings. Jacob Bethal did not play well in today’s match. He got out for just 7 runs. Devdutt Padikal and Virat Kohli formed a good partnership. But Padikal got out after scoring 45 runs. Virat Kohli scored a brilliant half century. Virat Kohli was dismissed for 58 runs. Skipper Rajat Patidar is not playing today, Venkatesh Iyer, who is playing in his place, batted very aggressively and made Punjab sleep. He scored a brilliant half-century.

Punjab’s bowlers were successful in the power play. They succeeded in cracking the opening pair. Harpreet Brar took the wicket of Jacob Bethal. Harpreet Brar took two important wickets in quick succession. He dismissed the set Devdutt Padikal. Venkatesh Iyer washed the bowlers well. But on one side, Yuzvendra Chahal dismissed Virat Kohli, who was managing RCB’s innings.
