Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav fiercely targeted BJP on Sunday. He accused the BJP government at the Center of destroying the country’s economy. He also cornered the state government on the issue related to goldsmiths of UP. The SP President said that due to the entry of big companies in the jewelery business, small goldsmiths are not able to compete. The policies of the BJP government have turned the country’s economy into a ‘disaster’.

Small goldsmiths are not able to compete with big companies
He further wrote, ‘With the entry of big companies in the jewelery business, these small goldsmiths were no longer able to compete. Now they feel that maybe the BJP people have talked about gold ban in the name of war just to get lump sum commission from big companies. BJP people know that in one year lakhs of goldsmiths will be devastated and will stop their work, then these big companies will open their showrooms in every small and big city and sell jewelery at arbitrary prices and loot the public and will earn huge amount of money for BJP.
‘The shine of the jewelery shop has faded’
Akhilesh Yadav met the people of Swarnakar Samaj at the party office in Lucknow. He said that today, after listening to these problems of the goldsmith community due to the BJP policies, I felt that when the glittering showrooms and jewelery shops of the people who invest the most money in business have tarnished, then what about the other businesses? Where will these people go and how will they support their families?

He alleged that the policies of the BJP government have turned the country’s economy into a chaos. The lives of common people have been filled with crisis. Goldsmith says today, BJP is not needed!
