Ashok Gehlot targets central government in NEET paper leak case, demands resignation from Education Minister

From Jaipur, today was the day of sharp remarks by former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on the issue of irregularities in NEET exam and paper leak. In fact, Ashok Gehlot made a direct attack on the Central Government and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan regarding the issue of paper leak and cancellation of examination in NEET-UG examination and strongly demanded their resignation. Congress leader Gehlot clearly said that the Union Education Minister no longer has any moral right to continue in his post. Therefore, he should either immediately resign from his post or Prime Minister Narendra Modi should immediately dismiss him, so that a clear message of the government’s seriousness regarding the future of the students is sent.

In fact, the former Chief Minister described the incidents of paper leaks that occurred in three consecutive years in 2024, 2025 and 2026 as a very serious situation. He expressed deep concern over the fact that due to these continuous incidents, the future of lakhs of students of the country is being badly affected, due to which deep anger is growing among the youth.

made serious allegations against the government

Ashok Gehlot alleged that the government has completely failed to stop this entire matter and has also failed to fix responsibility for this serious situation. He also mentioned that opposition leader Rahul Gandhi had also strongly raised this burning issue in the Parliament and demanded the government to take strict action on it, but despite this no concrete reforms or effective steps were taken.

The future of many students has been spoiled: Ashok Gehlot

Ashok Gehlot also said that due to paper leak cases, the future of many students has been ruined, and in some cases, there have been reports of even suicide due to frustration, which is certainly a very sad and worrying situation. Accusing the Central Government of insensitivity, he warned that if no strict and decisive steps are taken in this direction soon, the public’s trust in the government and the education system will be completely broken. Reiterating his demand, he once again said that to send a message of seriousness of the government towards the future of the students, either the Education Minister should resign himself or the Prime Minister should remove him from the post.

It is noteworthy that the NEET-UG exam was held on May 3, but it had to be canceled after allegations of irregularities in the exam, following which there were massive protests by students across the country. After this serious situation like playing with the future of the students, the government has now announced to re-conduct this examination on June 21, but the anger of the opposition and the students is not stopping.
