Lucknow: There is great news for the youth preparing for government jobs in Uttar Pradesh. Chief Minister Yogi has announced new recruitments on a large scale in the Basic Education Department. The state government will now appoint 21,508 new teachers and instructors. The government says that this will strengthen the education system in schools and the student-teacher ratio will improve.

Chief Minister Yogi said that the requisition for the recruitment of 11,508 assistant teachers has been sent to the Education Service Selection Commission, Prayagraj. These teachers will be appointed mainly in schools in urban areas. Apart from this, 10 thousand new instructors will also be recruited, who will be deployed in upper primary schools. This recruitment, which is going to happen after a long time, is being considered as a big opportunity for the youth. Earlier, in the year 2018, the recruitment process of 69 thousand teachers was done in the state.

The Chief Minister was making this announcement at the felicitation ceremony of part-time instructors organized at Lok Bhavan Auditorium. During this, he also distributed checks of increased honorarium to the instructors. He said that the government is continuously working to make the system of Basic Education Council more effective.

The government has also made a big increase in the honorarium of instructors. The Chief Minister said that when the appointment of part-time instructors started in the year 2011-12, they used to get a monthly honorarium of Rs 7 thousand. There was no increase in it for many years. In the year 2022, the government had increased it by Rs 2 thousand, but now it has been increased to Rs 17 thousand per month.

At present, more than 24 thousand instructors related to art education, health and physical education and work experience education are working in the state. The government has also started a health protection scheme for them. Chief Minister Yogi said that cashless health insurance of up to Rs 5 lakh will be provided to all the instructors and their families. For this, they will have to register on the portal of Basic Education Council, so that health cards can be distributed soon.

CM’s opinion on education system

During the program, the Chief Minister also expressed his opinion regarding the education system and discipline. He said that it is important to make children self-reliant and strong. If children take part in Shramdaan or cleanliness campaign in schools then it should not be misrepresented. He told the officials that instead of punishing such teachers, who are developing a sense of discipline and responsibility in the children, they should be honored.

Due to this announcement of the government, there is an atmosphere of enthusiasm among lakhs of candidates. It is believed that after the recruitment process starts in the coming days, the youth will get a big opportunity to get government jobs.
