After the FIR, Yograj Singh moved the court and sought anticipatory bail. His lawyer argued that he was only playing a fictional character and acting as per the script. The court has issued a notice to the state government seeking its response, and the next hearing is likely to be held on May 20.

Victor Singh’s reaction

Yograj Singh’s younger son Victor Singh has refused to comment on the matter. He said that the family is taking legal advice on this issue and do not want to make any hasty statement. Victor also said that actors often work within the confines of the script, but did not provide any clarity on the controversial dialogue.
