Raja Shivaji Box office Collection Day 17: ‘Raja Shivaji’ becomes ‘Dhurandhar’ of Marathi cinema, great earning on 17th day too

People are liking Bollywood star Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza starrer film ‘Raja Shivaji’ very much. This movie is spreading its magic in theaters for the last 17 days. This film was released in theaters on 1 May 2026. This movie has been released in two languages. Hindi and Marathi. ‘Raja Shivaji’ is earning well in both the languages. However, compared to Hindi language, this movie is earning huge profits in Marathi language. The film collected Rs 11.35 crore on the opening day. The film earned Rs 3.35 crore in Hindi language and Rs 8 crore in Marathi language.

When was ‘Raja Shivaji’ released?

Riteish Deshmukh’s film ‘Raja Shivaji’ got excellent profits in the first weekend. The film collected Rs 10.55 crore in the first weekend i.e. on Saturday, while Rs 12.00 crore on Sunday. The film collected Rs 52.65 crore in the first week. However, there was a significant decline in the movie’s earnings in the second week. The film had earned only Rs 24.30 crore in the second week. In this movie, apart from Riteish Deshmukh, his wife Genelia D’Souza, Salman Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Vamika Gabbi, Vidya Balan and Fardeen Khan have played important roles.

These artists did not take fees for working in ‘Raja Shivaji’

Recently, the film’s director and actor Ritesh Deshmukh has revealed that Salman Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Genelia Deshmukh, Vidya Balan and Fardeen Khan have not charged fees for working in the film ‘Raja Shivaji’. ‘Raja Shivaji’ movie is making great money in Marathi language. The film has earned Rs 3.05 crore till the time of writing today i.e. on 17th May 2026. The film has collected Rs 52 lakh in Hindi language and Rs 2.53 crore in Marathi. According to the report, Rs 80 to 100 crores have been spent in making the film. But ‘Raja Shivaji’ has printed Rs 84.15 crore in 17 days. The film has earned Rs 23.52 crore in Hindi language and Rs 60.63 crore in Marathi language.
