Immediately after the accident, the entire air base was closed and security agencies took control of the spot.

During the air show, two advanced EA-18G Growler fighter jets of the US Navy were performing flight demonstrations. During this time both the planes came very close in the air and collided. After the collision, the aircraft fell rapidly and fell about two miles away from the air base. In the video viral on social media, it can be seen that both the planes get engulfed in flames after the collision. However, it is a matter of relief that all four crew members present in both the planes were successful in getting out in time. After the accident, he was seen landing safely on the ground with the help of a parachute. Later the US Navy also confirmed that all crew members are safe and no casualties were reported.

The organizers had prepared for this show for almost two years. But after the accident, all the other programs scheduled for Sunday were immediately cancelled.
