Washington. A painful road accident has occurred near Chicago in America. A 25-year-old Indian student lost her life and six other people were injured in this accident. The incident occurred late Saturday night on Interstate 65 Highway near the city of Crown Point in Lake County, Indiana state. Local media reports have identified the deceased student as Navya Gadusu. The Lake County Coroner’s Office declared Navya dead at 12:16 pm on Sunday night.
The report of the coroner’s office states that Navya died due to serious injuries sustained during a vehicle accident. The Indian Consulate General in Chicago has expressed deep sorrow over this incident. The embassy expressed condolences to Navya’s family and friends in a post on social media platform ‘X’. The embassy said they are in touch with the family of the deceased. They are also in touch with friends and community members who are helping those injured in the accident.
