The government has decided to start this scheme in a phased manner. Under this scheme, assistance of Rs 3,000 will be given to the farmers from June 1. It is going to replace the existing ‘Lakshmi Bhandar Yojana’. The work of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to women from poor families. Under this scheme, women are helped to meet their household needs. Under the scheme, about Rs 3,000 will be given to women every month through ‘Direct Bank Transfer’ (DBT).
