How to make Chili Paneer
– Prepare a thick mixture by mixing cornflour, flour, ginger-garlic paste, black pepper, salt and some water in a large bowl.
– Add paneer pieces in it and mix gently so that the coating gets done well. Heat oil in a pan and fry the paneer until golden and crisp. Then take them out on paper.
– Mix soy sauce, red chili sauce, green chili sauce and tomato ketchup in a small bowl. This will prevent the sauce from burning and enhance the taste.
Now heat 2 tablespoons oil. First add finely chopped garlic, ginger and green chilli and fry on high flame for 30 seconds. Then add onion and capsicum. Chinese cooking is done on high flame, so fry the vegetables for only 1-2 minutes.
Now add the prepared sauce mixture and salt as per taste in the pan. Mix well and reduce the flame. Then add cornflour solution and keep stirring so that the sauce becomes thick.
-Finally add fried cheese pieces and vinegar. Toss everything on high flame for 1 minute so that the cheese is coated well.
– Your hot, restaurant style chilli paneer is ready. Garnish it with finely chopped green onions and serve with fried rice or noodles or serve as an appetizer.
