Success of cooperation camp is the top priority of administration: District Officer

Under the determination of “Everyone’s respect – life is easy”, the district administration has become fully active in the cooperation camp to be organized on the first and third Tuesday of every month in all the panchayats of the district from May 19, 2026, with the aim of quick resolution of public problems. In the same sequence, a detailed review meeting of block-wise preparations was organized under the chairmanship of District Officer Taranjot Singh in the Collectorate Auditorium. In the meeting, the District Officer said in clear words that the cooperation camp is a very important initiative of the government and making it 100 percent successful in the district is the top priority of the administration.

While giving instructions to all the officials and personnel, he said that every officer should discharge his responsibilities seriously, because a high level review of the preparations and implementation of the camp will be done. Any kind of carelessness or negligence will not be tolerated and strict action will be taken against the guilty officials. The District Officer said that the camp should be completely organized, transparent and public welfare. For this, instructions were given to conduct test runs in all the Panchayats from Monday, 18th May, so that technical or systemic shortcomings can be removed in advance. He said that to ensure that the applicants coming to the camp do not face any kind of inconvenience, drinking water, toilets, proper seating arrangements, adequate counters, flex and information boards related to guidance should be made available compulsorily. He directed that the personnel deployed in the camp will be present with laptops and uninterrupted provision of electricity, internet and technical resources should be ensured.

Instructing to upload the new applications received in the camp on the portal on the same day, the DM said that no delay in processing the applications will be accepted. The District Officer said that the district level officials who have not been deputed to the camp will also visit various Panchayats and inspect the camp and review the execution of the applications received related to their department. We will also ensure that the inspection report is provided. He instructed the nodal officers to continuously monitor the preparations of their respective camps. In the meeting, the District Officer gave strict instructions to all the officers not to leave the headquarters and said that no officer will go out of the headquarters without the permission of the competent authority.

Laying special emphasis on the execution of already pending applications, he directed that all the pending cases should be executed by Monday evening under any circumstances. He directed to keep the district level control room fully active and functional and said that the applications received and their execution should be continuously monitored. He said that after successfully completing the first phase of the camp, preparations for the next camp will have to be started immediately, so that the common people can get the benefits of the schemes and services on time. Deputy Development Commissioner Kajle Vaibhav Nitin, Municipal Commissioner Shivakshi Dixit, Additional Collector Rajeev Ranjan Sinha, Additional Collector-cum-District Public Grievance Redressal Officer Anil Kumar Sinha and other district level officials were present in the meeting, while sub-division and block level officials remained connected to the meeting through video conferencing.
