Meanwhile, important information regarding the 23rd installment of PM Kisan Yojana has come to light. To get the 23rd installment, the farmers have to complete some necessary procedures. Otherwise, the beneficiaries may be deprived of installments.

When will the 23rd installment of PM Kisan come?

According to the rules of PM Kisan Yojana, a total of 6 thousand rupees is paid by the central government in three installments in a year. 2,000 rupees are deposited in the farmer’s account every four months.

These installments are distributed for the period April to July, August to November and December to March. Earlier, the 22nd installment was deposited in the farmer’s account in the month of March. So now the 23rd installment for the period April to July is likely to be collected in the month of June or July. However, the central government has not yet announced the official date.

If ‘these’ works are not completed, the installment may get stuck

The central government has given an important instruction regarding the PM Kisan Yojana. Farmers who have not completed the necessary document verification, will not get the next installment.

Farmers whose documents or verification are incomplete, an installment of ₹2,000 will be deducted from their account. To get your installment without a hitch, complete these tasks immediately:

E-KYC Mandatory: According to PM Kisan Portal, e-KYC is mandatory for all registered farmers. You can complete biometric-based e-KYC by visiting your nearest Common Service Center (CSC) or by entering the OTP on the PM Kisan portal at home.

Linking Aadhaar with Bank Account: The bank account linked to your Aadhaar card must be active. Note that remittances are sent through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), so Aadhaar seeding is required.

Verification of land: The agricultural land in your name must be fully verified in the government database. In cases where land verification is pending, installments may be delayed.

These people will not benefit

The cases which do not fit the eligibility criteria are being verified by the government. For example, farmers who have acquired land after February 1, 2019. If more than one member of the same family, such as husband and wife, are availing of the scheme, their installments may be withheld temporarily till verification is completed.
