District Officer heard 71 complaints in public hearing, many cases were resolved on the spot.

In the public hearing program organized on Monday, May 18, at the Collectorate at the District Headquarters, District Magistrate Taranjot Singh seriously listened to the problems of the common people and instructed the concerned officers to take immediate action. In the public hearing, people from different blocks and panchayats of the district presented their complaints directly before the administration. A total of 71 cases were heard during the programme. Among these, complaints related to land dispute, revenue related problems, social security pension, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, electricity supply, drinking water crisis, road construction and repair and ration card were prominent.

The District Magistrate, while reviewing each case closely, directed the concerned departmental officers to ensure speedy resolution. Many cases were resolved on the spot with the intervention of the District Magistrate, which provided immediate relief to the complainants. In the public hearing, a large number of people including Rambabu Prasad, Kashi Ram, Ramesh Chaudhary, Maqsood Alam, Guddu Kumar, Ashish Tiwari, Aanchal Kumari, Rani Devi, Saurabh Vajpayee, Vinod Sah, Bihari Sharma presented their problems before the administration.

This public hearing program was organized under the “Sabka Samman-Jeevan Aasan” campaign run under Saat Nishchay-3. The objective of administration is to provide better administrative services to the people by promptly resolving their problems. On this occasion, Additional Collector-cum-District Public Grievance Redressal Officer Anil Kumar Sinha, Senior Deputy Collector Rochna Madri, Nagma Tabassum, Ahmed Ali Ansari, Jyoti Rani, PGRO Bettiah Masoom Ansari and officials of various departments were present.
