Govinda wins hearts after calming paparazzi clash
Veteran Bollywood actor Govinda has won praise from fans after calmly diffusing a tense situation involving his security guard and a paparazzo during a recent event in Mumbai.
The incident reportedly took place during the grand finale of Mrs India Queen Pehchan Meri Season 4, where Govinda attended as the chief guest.
Heated exchange during crowd rush
According to reports, a large crowd of fans and photographers surrounded the actor while he was leaving the venue.
During the rush, one of Govinda’s security guards allegedly pushed a paparazzo while trying to clear a path for the actor. This reportedly led to a heated verbal exchange between the guard and the photographer.
A video of the incident later surfaced on Instagram, showing the paparazzo questioning the security guard over the alleged physical push as tensions briefly escalated at the venue.
Govinda steps in to calm situation
Before the situation worsened further, Govinda personally intervened and attempted to calm both sides.
According to videos circulating online, the actor politely addressed the paparazzo and reportedly told his security guard, “He’s my friend,” while asking everyone to relax.
Govinda also apologised to the photographer before leaving for his car, earning appreciation from fans for handling the situation with composure and humility.
Fans praise actor’s behaviour
Social media users widely praised Govinda for his calm and respectful response during the incident.
Many fans described the actor as “graceful,” “professional,” and “down-to-earth,” noting that he chose to peacefully resolve the matter instead of ignoring it.
Govinda remains one of Bollywood’s most loved comedy actors and rose to fame in the 1990s with blockbuster films such as Hero No. 1, Coolie No. 1, Raja Babu, and Partner.
