Union Cabinet Meeting: Ministers will now have to give ‘report card’; Important meeting today under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was on a tour of five countries. After returning from this tour, he will hold a cabinet meeting on Thursday. According to the information received, in this meeting the work of different ministries, important decisions taken and their results as well as future plans etc. will be discussed.
This meeting to be chaired by Prime Minister Modi will be attended by all cabinet ministers, ministers of state with independent charge and other ministers of state. There is a possibility of a cabinet reshuffle, but this will be the first full cabinet meeting this year. According to sources, in this meeting the working of different ministries and departments, important decisions taken recently and their results as well as future plans will be discussed. There is also a possibility of review on different aspects of different government schemes and programs, how to implement them with maximum success and other issues.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Modi can mention the current crisis in West Asia and its economic fallout and give instructions to ministries and departments to reduce the hardships being faced by the citizens. According to sources, the meeting is expected to focus on sectors like energy, agriculture, fertilizer, aviation, shipbuilding and logistics.
Discussion on benefits of common man
The government’s priorities for reforms in all sectors for the benefit of the common man are also expected to be discussed in the meeting. Earlier, while stating the priority of reforms for the next 10 years, the Prime Minister had said that his government’s ‘Reform Express’ has brought changes in the system and greatly benefited the common man. This meeting is taking place after BJP’s big victory in West Bengal, Assam and Puducherry.
