Trump Iran Uranium Stockpile Update: US President Donald Trump has once again taken a very tough stance on the Iran uranium dispute. Speaking at the White House, Trump made it clear that America will completely stop Iran’s nuclear program. He said that America will take possession of Iran’s highly enriched uranium and will also destroy it if necessary.

Along with this, Trump also made it clear that America does not want any kind of toll on the Strait of Hormuz. The main and most important objective of this entire diplomatic strategy of the Trump administration is to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons. America is continuously increasing its pressure on Iran so that it remains within its limits.

Trump’s claim on uranium reserves

According to an estimate, Iran currently has about 900 pounds of highly enriched uranium. Trump claims that it was buried under nuclear bases in American and Israeli air strikes about a year ago. Now America is making a strong and strict plan to take direct possession of this entire dangerous uranium reserve.

However, last week, Trump had shown his softness to the whole world to some extent on this serious issue. He said that he probably wouldn’t have any major objection if the 970 pounds of uranium remained buried there. It was believed that the US administration was exploring a new possibility of a major peace agreement with Iran.

Trump against toll plan on Hormuz

Meanwhile, Iran and Oman are seriously considering building a permanent toll system together on the Strait of Hormuz. Iran’s Ambassador to France Mohammad Amin-Nejad said that maintaining maritime security comes at a very high economic cost. In such a situation, whichever country or foreign company uses this route, they will have to pay its full cost.

The Strait of Hormuz is considered one of the most important and major oil trade routes in the whole world. A large portion of the global energy supply safely passes through this narrow sea route every day. Mohammad Amin-Nejad said that if the current situation is to be improved, a permanent solution will have to be found to deal with the root of the problem.
