Inauguration of first skill festival in school with lighting of lamp

The Skills Mahotsav, organized for the first time in the school premises, was inaugurated by lighting the lamp in the dignified presence of Chief Guest Sister Lisil, Principal Sister Rekha Tudu, Vice Principal Sister Berna and Sister Ansil. During the program, the chief guest was honored by the school family by presenting him a bouquet and body clothes.
In the program organized on this occasion, the students of the school showcased their talent by participating in various creative and skill based activities. Addressing the program, chief guest Sister Lisil said that in the present times, skill development along with education is very important. Such events play an important role in increasing the self-confidence of the students and making them self-reliant and capable for the future. He said that there is some special talent hidden in every student, which can be used in society and nation building if given the right platform and guidance.
The school administration said that this Skills Festival is a meaningful effort inspired by the ambitious initiative of the Government of India “Skill India Mission”. Its objective is to develop basic skills, professional proficiency and life useful abilities in the students. Through the program, an attempt was made to develop creativity, leadership ability, problem solving skills and team spirit by involving the students in the spirit of “learning by doing”. The school campus was filled with excitement and enthusiasm during the program. Teachers and students played an active role in making the event successful.
