Additional Superintendent of Police Headquarters conducted half-yearly inspection of Mahila Police Station Robertsganj, collected records and gave necessary guidelines.

On 22.05.2026, Additional Superintendent of Police Headquarters Sonbhadra Anil Kumar reached Mahila Police Station Robertsganj and accepted the salute and half yearly inspection of the police station was conducted. During the inspection, the arrangements were thoroughly inspected in the police station office, women’s help desk, CCTNS room, warehouse, lock-up, mess, barracks, armory and police station premises.

During the inspection, the records kept in the police station office, crime registers, public hearing register, women’s complaint register, investigation related records and pending cases were reviewed and the concerned officers/employees were directed to keep the records updated and well organized.

Instructions were given by the Additional Superintendent of Police Headquarters to be sensitive in the disposal of crimes and complaints related to women, to listen to the problems of the victimized women on priority basis and to ensure quality and timely disposal of every complaint. Besides, instructions were also given to make women and girls aware under Mission Shakti Abhiyan and to widely publicize the helpline numbers related to women safety.

During the inspection, necessary corrective guidelines were given by reviewing the cleanliness of the police station premises, maintenance of government properties, functioning of the computer room and duty arrangements of the employees. Apart from this, instructions were also given for speedy and fair disposal of pending investigations, arrest of wanted accused and quality disposal of applications received in public hearing.

Necessary guidelines were given by the Additional Superintendent of Police Headquarters to all the officers/employees appointed at the police station to perform duty with discipline, honesty and complete devotion, maintain cordial behavior with the general public and take action while maintaining sensitivity and confidentiality towards women complainants.
