Actor Tejasswi Prakash has defended boyfriend Karan Kundrra against cheating rumours linked to his past relationship with VJ-actor Anusha Dandekar. The comments were made during an interaction on Netflix’s reality show Desi Bling, where the couple addressed ongoing speculation surrounding their relationship and marriage plans.
During the conversation, Tejasswi was asked about allegations that surfaced after Karan’s breakup with Anusha Dandekar. Responding to the discussion, Tejasswi said that people do not know the complete truth about someone’s past relationship and added that she trusts Karan’s version of events.
“We all have our pasts. Somebody’s past is out there in public. Whether he cheated or not, again, we don’t know,” Tejasswi said on the show. She added that Karan had spoken to her personally about the matter and clarified his side of the story.
According to Tejasswi, Karan told her that public perception did not matter as much as ensuring that she knew “the real thing.”
Karan Kundrra and Anusha Dandekar were previously in a relationship for several years before parting ways in 2020. Their breakup had attracted significant attention online after Anusha shared a public note alleging betrayal and dishonesty in the relationship, though she did not directly name Karan at the time.
In recent months, the topic resurfaced after Anusha spoke on her podcast about an ex-boyfriend allegedly using a dating app to meet other women while they were together for a campaign. Social media users speculated that she was referring to Karan Kundrra.
Following those remarks, Karan had reacted through a social media post criticising what he described as unfair assumptions and allegations being made publicly.
Tejasswi’s latest comments come amid renewed attention around the couple after Karan proposed to her during an episode of Desi Bling. The proposal sequence, which was featured in the reality series, quickly went viral on social media and triggered engagement speculation among fans.
The couple has been together for over four years after meeting on Bigg Boss 15 in 2021. Since then, they have frequently been asked about their wedding plans during interviews and reality show appearances.
During the same interaction on Desi Bling, Tejasswi also addressed repeated questions about marriage. She said that conversations about their future together are ongoing but did not reveal any specific wedding date.
Tejasswi’s remarks defending Karan quickly began trending online, with fans reacting across social media platforms. While some users supported her statement about trusting her partner, others continued discussing the earlier allegations linked to Karan’s past relationship.
The conversation also reignited discussion around previous social media exchanges involving Tejasswi and Anusha Dandekar. In 2025, Tejasswi had posted a birthday message for Karan saying, “The only right swipe he does now,” which several users interpreted as an indirect response to Anusha’s earlier remarks about dating apps and cheating allegations.

More recently, Anusha Dandekar also drew attention after sharing a cryptic Instagram Story shortly after Karan’s proposal episode aired on Desi Bling. The post read, “I’m Thanking God!!! #iykyk,” leading to speculation online about whether it was connected to the viral proposal clip.
Neither Anusha nor Karan publicly commented on those latest speculations.
Meanwhile, Karan and Tejasswi continue to remain among television’s most talked-about celebrity couples. Their relationship, which began inside the Bigg Boss house, has maintained a strong fan following online, with supporters popularly referring to the pair as “TejRan.”
