Dipke, whose newly formed outfit went viral after overtaking several mainstream political parties in social media reach and engagement within days of its launch, announced the campaign on multiple platforms. He described the NEET controversy as a “failure of the system” that had broken the trust of more than 22 lakh students.

Call for accountability grows

Through a video message, Dipke called on people across the country to support the petition and “put pressure on the system” to ensure accountability.

In the video, Dipke said, “How are you, my cockroaches? Everyone is telling me that I’ve taken the internet by storm. But I think it’s time to do some real work- the reason why we started this. Today, we’re going to launch a petition demanding the Education Minister’s resignation.”

He further said, “So, all of you please sign and support this in as many numbers as possible because now is the time to make this system accountable.”

He said the alleged paper leak and the uncertainty that followed had caused serious emotional strain for students and their families. According to him, many aspirants have spoken about anxiety, burnout, and depression, while incidents of student suicides linked to exam pressure have also triggered concern nationwide.

Accountability debate over NEET

In the Instagram video, Dipke said the NEET paper leak issue was not just an examination controversy but a reflection of a larger breakdown of trust in the education system.

“It was the fault of the system which jeopardised the future of more than 22 lakh students,” he said while demanding Pradhan’s resignation.

He also claimed that despite widespread public outrage over the controversy, no significant accountability had been fixed at the top level. According to Dipke, the minister’s resignation was important to restore students’ confidence in the system.

His remarks come at a time when the NEET 2026 row continues to dominate national conversations, especially after the government announced a re-examination and admitted lapses in the conduct of the exam.
