Through this notification, the bank informed the customers that the employees of the bank are on strike for two days; Also, if the customer wants to perform some banking related tasks, the bank has also guided the steps to be taken by the customer.

Through this post, the bank informed customers that efforts are being made to ensure that essential banking services continue uninterrupted in its branches even during the strike period. But to minimize the potential inconvenience to customers, the bank has advised them to use alternative banking channels.

The post stated: “Please note that the ‘All India State Bank of India Staff Federation’ has notified a two-day strike scheduled for 25th and 26th May 2026. We are doing our best to ensure uninterrupted access to essential services at our branches.” Accordingly, the bank made an important appeal to its customers.

Please use ATMs or ADWMs for cash requirements.
Please take advantage of the ‘Customer Service Centers’.
Please prefer internet banking, YONO, mobile banking, UPI and other digital means.
Furthermore, the bank has also apologized for any inconvenience this may cause to customers.
It is important to mention here that State Bank of India employees are going to call a two-day strike on May 25 and 26. The strike follows a weekend holiday on May 23 and 24, followed by the Eid bank holiday. As a result, SBI branches are likely to remain closed for a total of six consecutive days.
