Jack Antonoff sparked fresh speculation surrounding Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce after an awkward exchange during a recent television appearance.
Antonoff appeared on the May 22 episode of Today alongside his band Bleachers as part of the programme’s Summer Concert Series. Following a performance of Dirty Wedding Dress, the producer discussed how his marriage to actress Margaret Qualley inspired the song.
During the interview, host Craig Melvin referenced “wedding season” while attempting to steer the conversation toward Swift and Kelce, who announced their engagement in August 2025 after dating for two years.
Antonoff appeared to avoid the subject by redirecting attention to Melvin’s own marriage to broadcaster Lindsay Czarniak.
However, the host later revisited the topic, asking whether Antonoff expected to attend “any big weddings this summer.”
Caught slightly off guard, the producer responded, “Uh, I hope. Yeah, I hope so, man.” When Melvin pressed further by asking “Like where?”, Antonoff laughed nervously before replying, “Oh no, no, no, no.”
The exchange quickly drew attention online, with fans speculating that Antonoff may have unintentionally hinted at upcoming wedding plans involving Swift and Kelce.
Antonoff has long been one of Swift’s closest collaborators, having worked on albums including 1989, Midnightsand The Tortured Poets Department.
Swift previously attended Antonoff’s 2023 wedding to Qualley on her own.
