BSF’s women power created history, Kausar, Munmun, Rabika and Sering conquered Mount Everest and sang ‘Vande Mataram’

Tezzbuzz Desk- BSF deployed in the security of the country has once again created history. The all-women mountaineering team of the force set a new record by successfully climbing the world’s highest peak Mount Everest. With this achievement, the team further increased the pride of the country by singing the national song ‘Vande Mataram’ at the summit.

Four women constables were involved in this historic expedition—Kausar Fatima (Ladakh), Munmun Ghosh (West Bengal), Rabeka Singh (Uttarakhand), Tsering Chorol (Kargil). All of them successfully climbed the peak of Everest at around 8 am Indian time on Thursday morning.

After reaching the peak, these women soldiers not only gave the message of patriotism by singing ‘Vande Mataram’, but also made the entire operation historic. This moment was recorded as a proud and emotional achievement for BSF.

Congratulating the team on this achievement, Amit Shah said on social media platform X that women power has proved the invincible capability of BSF. He described it as an inspiring example of patriotism, courage and dedication.

This mountaineering mission was dedicated to the Diamond Jubilee year of BSF and the 150th anniversary of ‘Vande Mataram’ in 2026. The team was dispatched from Delhi on 6 April.

The BSF, which has about 2.7 lakh personnel and was formed in 1965, plays an important role in protecting India’s Pakistan and Bangladesh borders as well as internal security.

This achievement not only reflects the strength of the women power of BSF, but also gives new heights to the courage and dedication of the soldiers engaged in protecting the borders of India.
