Al-Badr chief from Hizbul! Pulwama mastermind’s funeral is like a jihadist fair

Hamza Burhan, the mastermind of the Pulwama terror attack, was killed in an unidentified attack in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. A crowd of jihadists was seen at his funeral on Friday. From Hizbul Mujahideen chief Syed Salahuddin to Al Badr chief Bakht Zamin Khan, the presence of top terrorists was noticed at Hamza’s funeral prayers.

On Thursday, a group of unidentified youth opened fire on Hamza in Muzaffarabad. He died in that attack. A resident of Pulwama, Hamza was known as ‘The Doctor’. In 2022, the Union Home Ministry identified him as a militant. Hamza’s real name is Arjumand Gulzar Dar. He was buried in Islamabad on Friday. Recently, the video of that funeral went viral on social media. Where seen, India is the enemy of several top militants as well as top officials of Pakistan’s ISI. Security was tight around the funeral prayers. Especially the crowd of militants armed with modern weapons is visible around Al Badr chief Zamin Khan.

Hamza was born in Kharbatpora in Ratnipora area of ​​Pulwama. He then moved to Pakistan for higher education. There he joined the terrorist organization Al-Badr. Within a few days he was promoted to the rank of commander. He then returned to Pulwama. It is there that youths are brainwashed and engaged in making militants. It is known that Hamza’s network extended from Pulwama to Shopian. Apart from the Pulwama attack, Hamza was involved in several terrorist activities in Jammu and Kashmir. In recent years after the Pulwama terror attack, Hamza had been living in disguise in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, taking up teaching there. Police said Hamza was working as the principal of a private college in Muzaffarabad, about 135 km from Islamabad. Hamza was shot dead in front of that college on Thursday morning.

Note that Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir was rocked by a suicide blast on February 14, 2019. 40 army soldiers lost their lives. Pakistan-backed militant group Jaish-e-Mohammed later claimed responsibility for the attack. The memories of that attack are still fresh.
