Pink and electric buses will run on the roads of Patna for the assembly staff in Bihar, will operate on these 3 routes

Bihar News: Now special buses will be seen running on the streets of Patna, the capital of Bihar, for the officers and employees of the Assembly Secretariat. The government of Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has taken a great initiative to make the daily commute of the Assembly staff smooth, safe and timely. Under this new system, pink, green and modern electric buses will be deployed for the employees. To run this special transport service smoothly, three dedicated routes have been fully finalized.

This important decision was taken during a high level meeting between Assembly Speaker Dr. Prem Kumar and Transport Minister Damodar Rawat. In this meeting, both the parties agreed to start a better and organized transport service for the employees of the Secretariat.

Employees’ demands approved

According to the information received from the senior officials present in this meeting, the main objective of this entire initiative is to significantly improve the facilities for the assembly employees to commute from home to office and from office to home on daily basis. Actually, the proposal for this transport service was put forward by the Assembly Secretariat itself. The Secretariat had demanded a dedicated bus service from major residential and administrative areas of Patna to the Assembly complex, so that the employees could be freed from long traffic jams on the roads and dependence on private vehicles.

Transport Secretary showed positive attitude on the proposal

During the meeting, Transport Secretary Raj Kumar took a positive stance on this proposal and informed that the department is already running six electric buses and five pink buses on various routes of the city for the secretariat employees. Now with the expansion of this new system, the employees of the Legislative Assembly will also start getting direct benefits.

Special buses will run on these three routes

The three routes finalized jointly by the Transport Department and the Assembly Secretariat connect almost all the major parts of Patna. The first route will start from AIIMS Patna and reach Chitkohra and Kachchi Talab via Phulwarisharif, Anisabad. After this, this bus will go directly to Bihar Legislative Secretariat via Gardanibagh and Mithapur.

The second route chart will start from Saguna Mod. From here the bus will reach Bihar Legislative Secretariat via Shastri Nagar via RPS, Gola Road, Jagdev Path, Ashiana Mod, Ramnagari, Rajiv Nagar Police Station and Rajvanshi Nagar.

The third route has been determined from Dhanki Mod. This bus will open from Dhanki Mor and go to Election Commission and Vikas Bhawan via Kumhrar, Bhootnath Mor, NMCH, Rajendra Nagar Terminal, Kankarbagh Colony Mor, Karbigahiya, R Block and Bihar Assembly. Selection of these routes will provide great relief to the employees living in different corners of Patna.

Big relief from pollution and traffic jams

In this high level and important meeting, Deputy Speaker of the Assembly Narendra Narayan Yadav, Bihar State Road Transport Corporation Administrator Atul Verma and many senior officials of the Transport Department and Legislative Secretariat were present. After the meeting, officials said that this initiative has a dual objective. On one hand, the transport facility for government employees is being made very easy and comfortable.

Also support the expansion of environmentally friendly vehicles

On the other hand, the expansion of electric mobility i.e. environment friendly vehicles is also being given great support in Patna city. Running of these electric buses will help in reducing air pollution in the city and due to many employees traveling by bus together, the pressure of private vehicles on the roads will be reduced, due to which the people of Patna will also get relief from the problem of traffic jam.
