Raghav Chadha Appointed As Chairman Of Rajya Sabha’s Petitions Committee: Raghav Chadha was made the Chairman of the Petitions Committee of Rajya Sabha, know what this committee does?
New Delhi. Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha, who left Aam Aadmi Party and joined BJP, has once again been given a big responsibility in the Parliament. Chadha has been appointed to the post of Chairman of the Petitions Committee of Rajya Sabha. The petition committee is considered very special. The main work of this committee is to investigate and consider the petitions presented in the Rajya Sabha on behalf of the general public. If any citizen wants to bring the attention of Parliament to any matter of public interest then he can file a petition before this committee.

After that, the petition is thoroughly reviewed by the committee and then the committee presents its report and other necessary recommendations before the House. Raghav Chadha has been made the chairman of this petition committee. According to a notification of the Rajya Sabha, apart from Raghav Chadha, Harsh Mahajan, Ghulam Ali, Shambhu Sharan Patel, Mayankkumar Nayak, Mastan Rao Yadav Beedha, JB Mather Hisham, Subhashish Khuntia, Rangavra Narzari and Sandosh Kumar P have also been included in the panel of the petition committee.

Let us tell you that Raghav Chadha was earlier on the post of Deputy Leader of Aam Aadmi Party in Rajya Sabha. AAP leadership had removed him from this post and handed over the responsibility to Ashok Mittal. AAP party had also recommended to the Rajya Sabha Chairman that he should not be given time to speak in the House. After this, differences between Raghav Chadha and Aam Aadmi Party came to the fore. Then one day suddenly Raghav Chadha along with other 6 Rajya Sabha MPs of Aam Aadmi Party announced to join BJP. MP Atul Mittal is also among those who joined BJP. So many MPs leaving the party together is no less than a big blow for the Aam Aadmi Party.
