1. Umesh Yadav
Indian fast bowler Umesh Yadav, the 38-year-old fast bowler last represented India in an ODI against West Indies in Visakhapatnam on October 24, 2018. Since then, he has not got any other opportunity in this format.
2. Yuzvendra Chahal
Star leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has also lost his place in India’s ODI setup. Chahal has not been given regular opportunities in ODIs for a long time. Chahal last played an ODI for India against West Indies on August 13, 2023.
3. Shardul Thakur
Fast bowling all-rounder Shardul Thakur, once considered a key player in India’s ODI team, played his last ODI for India on October 19, 2023, against Bangladesh during the 2023 ODI World Cup in Pune. Since then, he has struggled to regain his place in the team.
4. Nitish Rana
Explosive middle-order batsman Nitish Rana also seems to be out of India’s ODI plans. Rana played his only ODI for India on July 23, 2021, against Sri Lanka in Colombo.
5. Ravi Bishnoi
Bishnoi played his only ODI for India on October 6, 2022, against South Africa in Lucknow.
Despite proving his worth in T20 cricket, he has not got another chance in ODIs since then.
