Lucknow, 24 May. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has decided to organize weekly Chaupal at every development block level to resolve various complaints of the public. Public related problems like revenue disputes, domestic violence, illegal extortion and police complaints not being registered at the local level will be resolved immediately in Chaupals.

CM Yogi said in the law-order and administrative review meeting held on Sunday through video conferencing that the priority of the government is to ensure timely, transparent and satisfactory solution to the problems of the public. Detailed SOP will be issued from the government level for the operation of these Chaupals and quality disposal of every application and complaint will be ensured.
For immediate solution of problems related to common people, weekly Chaupal should be set up at every development block level.

The Chief Minister gave strict instructions to the officers regarding the complaints received through IGRS and CM Helpline and said that every complaint should be taken with utmost seriousness. The victim should get real relief, not formal redressal.
In the meeting, the Chief Minister gave instructions to take special vigilance in view of the upcoming Ganga Dussehra and Bakrid festival. He clearly said that sacrifice of animals will not be allowed in public places on the occasion of Bakrid. There will be a complete ban on sacrifice of banned animals.
Namaz should be offered only at traditional places and namaz should not be allowed under any circumstances by blocking roads.

The Chief Minister directed that Namaz should be offered only at traditional places and Namaz should not be allowed under any circumstances by blocking roads. He said that a well-planned arrangement for waste disposal after sacrifice should be ensured in every district. Open sale of meat should be banned and illegal slaughter houses should not operate under any circumstances. Even in legal slaughter houses, animals should not be kept more than the prescribed capacity.

CM Yogi instructed to take special vigilance regarding power supply, cleanliness and security arrangements during festivals. Flag march should be conducted in sensitive areas before the festival. Continuous foot patrolling of the police force should be ensured around religious places.
While communicating with the District Magistrates and Police Captains of sensitive districts including Aligarh, Bijnor, Saharanpur, Rampur and Sambhal, he said that after studying the incidents of the past years, a list of possible unruly elements should be prepared. Prohibitive action should be ensured as per requirement. Instructions were also given to maintain regular communication with peace committees at all police stations, tehsil and district levels.
