Trouble coming at a speed of 50 KM Sand storm moving fast towards Delhi-NCR, next three hours are heavy!
Delhi-NCR Weather Alert: People living in the capital Delhi should be a little cautious because a big disaster is coming amidst the scorching heat. The Meteorological Department has warned of severe storm. Nowcast has been posted on the IMD website, which is valid till 9.30 pm in a short time, in which it has been told that the weather of Delhi is going to change and sandstorm is coming at the speed of 50 kilometers per hour.
The Meteorological Department issued a yellow alert for all the districts of the capital Delhi and wrote that during the next 03 hours, strong winds with dust may blow in many parts of Delhi. The speed of winds can range from 30 to 40 kilometers to 50 kilometers per hour. The time of issuing the warning is 6:30 pm on May 24, 2026. This warning will be valid till 09:30 pm.
Got relief from the heat today
Let us tell you that Sunday i.e. today there was some relief from the scorching heat in Delhi compared to other days. According to the latest report of IMD, the maximum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 43.6 degrees Celsius. Along with this, the Meteorological Department has also issued a yellow alert of heatwave for the next 3 days. IMD said that the maximum temperature recorded in Delhi on Sunday was 43.6 degrees Celsius, which is 3.4 degrees Celsius more than the season’s average.

According to the Meteorological Department, yellow alert will continue for the next three days. The Meteorological Department says that the high temperature in Delhi is likely to be around 44 degrees Celsius on Monday. At the same time, the minimum temperature can remain around 30 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity in the capital Delhi kept fluctuating between 18 percent and 37 percent during the day.

Heatwave like conditions in many parts
Let us tell you that the temperature at many weather stations in Delhi-NCR area on Sunday was much higher than the normal level. The highest temperature of 44.6 degrees Celsius was recorded at Ridge and Ayanagar stations. It was 43.8 degrees Celsius in Lodhi Road, 43.7 degrees Celsius in Palam and 43.6 degrees Celsius in Safdarjung. The mercury remained between 2.3 degrees Celsius and 4.8 degrees Celsius above normal, creating heatwave-like conditions in many parts of the capital.
