Borussia Dortmund prodigy Samuele Inácio could make his debut for Italy’s senior national team in June.
Samuele Inácio looks set to be handed his first call up to Italy’s senior national team, according to La Gazetta dello Sport.
The Italian outlet reports that the 18-year-old Borussia Dortmund attacker is among a group of young prospects coach Silvio Baldini wants to include for the upcoming June friendlies against Luxembourg and Greece.
Inácio could be part of a significant rebuild of the Italy squad after their failure to qualify for a third consecutive World Cup.
The 18-year-old, who broke into Dortmund’s first team towards the end of the season, is also eligible to represent Brazil, but has already featured for Italy at youth level.
