US Secretary of State Marco Rubio visited Taj Mahal with wife Janet

Agra, 25 May. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who is on a four-day visit to India, arrived on Monday to see the Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world. He was also accompanied by wife Janet D. Rubio, US Deputy National Security Advisor Robert Gabriel and Ambassador Sergio Gore of the US Embassy in India.

Sergio Gore posted three photos posed in front of the Taj. Rubio couple and Gabriel can also be seen among them. He described Taj Mahal as a wonderful symbol of India’s extraordinary heritage and workmanship and said that its beauty always mesmerizes.

It is noteworthy that Marco Rubio has come to India on a four-day official visit. He started the tour from Kolkata and then came to Delhi, where he had a very busy schedule. After Agra, reached Jaipur to see Amer Palace

Due to his arrival, Amer Palace was kept closed for general tourists from 1 pm to 5 pm. Rubio reached Jaipur airport from Agra by special plane at around 1.30 pm.

After spending Monday in Jaipur, Marco Rubio will travel to Delhi on Tuesday morning, where he will attend the Quad meeting. The main objective of this visit is to further strengthen cooperation between India and America in trade, defence, energy and strategic matters.
