Under this, Rs 10 lakh was taken from ships for security. However, no money was taken from Indian ships. Ships from Pakistan and China also passed through the Strait of Hormuz for free.

Iran has also announced the creation of a separate ministry to collect tolls on the Strait of Hormuz. A social media account of this ministry has also been created. This ministry has been placed under IRGC. The Strait of Hormuz is also guarded by Islamic Revolutionary Guards soldiers.
