A new and unique service has emerged for shoppers in Delhi, which has attracted people’s attention. This is a startup named CarryMen. Carryman has been launched to help customers while shopping in the market. The service aims to make shopping easy, comfortable and stress-free in crowded markets.
Under this service, trained assistants accompany customers to the market and assist them in their entire shopping. Assistants not only carry heavy bags but also carry out tasks like carrying them to shops, queuing up, searching goods and escorting them to parking or metro gates.

Got the idea from crowded markets
The idea to launch Carryman came from the experience of shopping in Delhi’s famous and crowded markets like Lajpat Nagar, Sarojini Nagar and Chandni Chowk, reports The Economic Times. The founders say that although shopping is fun, it becomes very tiring due to heavy bags and crowds. Keeping this problem in mind, this service was started.
Facility will be available for Rs 149 per hour
In this service of Carryman, customers can book packages of half an hour, 1, 2, 3 or 4 hours. The half-hour package is priced at Rs 99. At the same time, one has to pay Rs 149 for 1 hour, Rs 299 for 2 hours, Rs 449 for 3 hours and Rs 599 for 4 hours. Currently, this service is mostly being used by elderly people, pregnant women and families with small children. Shopping for them has now become much easier than before.

According to Carryman’s website, the startup is currently also offering discounts to customers. Under the offer, half an hour service is available for Rs 79, 1 hour for Rs 119, 2 hours for Rs 219, 3 hours for Rs 319 and 4 hours for Rs 399.
CarryMan’s additional features and expansion plans
Carryman is not limited to just carrying bags but also provides many additional facilities to provide comfort to the customers. This includes facilities like camping chair, umbrella, water, mobile charging and power bank. However, an assistant can lift only a maximum of 12 kg, if the weight exceeds this, additional help has to be taken.

According to media reports, the startup started work in April and has completed more than 50 bookings in the very first month. Currently this service is available in Lajpat Nagar and there are plans to expand to bigger markets like Chandni Chowk soon. The company aims to make shopping not just a purchase, but a comfortable experience.
