Sensation in the area after half-dead body of a middle-aged man was found hanging from a tree in the forest.

Mirzapur: There was a sensation in the area when the half-mutilated body of 66-year-old Munna Lal Yadav of Tulsi village of Lalganj police station area was found hanging from a palm tree in the Tulsi Lakhaniya forest on Tuesday morning.

Lalganj police station in-charge reached the spot, investigated the body and sent it for post-mortem. The relative has accused him of murder and hanging the body in a tree. Munna Lal Yadav, a resident of Tulsi village of Lalganj police station area, had left for his private cow shed at a distance of two hundred meters from home on April 11 at 7:00 am.

But he did not return home, being worried about his not returning home the whole day and night, the relatives lodged a missing complaint at Lalganj police station on the evening of 12th April. On the basis of receiving the complaint, the police registered a missing person in the police station and started investigation.

In the morning he went to his cow shed, two hundred meters away from home, to feed the buffalo. But did not return. The relatives along with the people of the village had done a lot of research. But couldn’t find it anywhere. Being upset, Munna Lal’s son Pappu along with his mother reached Lalganj police station and lodged a complaint. The part of the body below the waist is missing. There were various kinds of discussions among people regarding it. The dead body has completely decomposed and only the skeleton is left. There are clothes on the body. The forensic team has arrived for investigation. After investigation the body will be sent for postmortem. Lalganj in-charge Inspector Abhay Kumar Singh said that investigation is going on and the exact cause of death will be clear only after post-mortem. Action will be taken on the basis of complaint received from relatives.
