However, the price of traveling by train can buy a flat in Kolkata! This train will take you from one place to another. After visiting there, tourists can return by train.

Let’s elaborate. All the walls inside the ‘Palace on Wheels’ are modeled after the walls of Indian palaces. The eyes are dazzled by looking at it. The ‘Maharaja’s Express’ has a Presidential Suite. Two people can stay here in a share. And he will need to rent 20 lakh rupees per person! In the peak season of the year that price can reach up to 21 lakhs. This suite is spread over 448 square feet. There are two bedrooms, a living room, multiple bathrooms, minibar. There are private writing tables, and even a personal butler will be available, serving fiformash only to guests staying in the suite.

There are also deluxe cabins, junior suites and suites. The price of deluxe cabin is the lowest, you can stay there for 4 days only for 4 lakh rupees. This 4 day tour package is called ‘Treasures of India’. If you want to extend the journey up to 7 days, it can cost as much as 7 lakh rupees per person. There are also different packages based on the number of days and places to visit. Like ‘Indian Splendor’, ‘Heritage of India’, ‘Indian Panorama’ etc. Passengers will get a chance to visit places like Jaipur, Agra, Varanasi, Udaipur, Ranthambore, Khajuraho etc.

However, the price of the train ticket will include the cost of food, entrance fees to various monuments and the guide’s honorarium. Just talking about places to eat will be forgotten, there are two luxury restaurants inside this train, which are called Rangmahal and Mayurmahal.

Until now this train was running only in September-October. But for the first time this year, ‘Palace on Wheels’ is traveling in May.
