How to stay ‘cool’ even in intense heat? Nutritionist gave 3 great tips

Burning in the heat of summer. Fire is falling from the sky as the day progresses. Even running AC or cooler does not provide relief. The body is tired all the time. Keeping the body cool from the inside is the real challenge in this extremely hot day. Artificial cold gives temporary relief. But to calm the body, you have to rely on the familiar tricks of the times of mothers and grandmothers. Recently Bollywood ‘bebo’ Kareena Kapoor Khan’s favorite nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar reminded us of three such authentic desi ways to beat the heat. Which will add to the body, on the other hand will return the skin! And Bebo keeps himself ‘cool’ even in this heat by following this trick. Do you also try?

Put bena grass in the water container

Many people get bored of drinking plain water in summer. Rujuta advises, put two to three poppy roots (vetiver or walla) in a pot of water. Known as bena grass in Bengal. But its roots are called khaskhase. It will change the taste of water, bringing natural sweetness. This crisp soaked water keeps the body cool from inside. Each root can be used up to three consecutive days. Later you can mix it in bath water and use it. This water is very beneficial especially for those who are suffering from acne or dandruff problem. However, it is better to avoid it for those who have frequent headaches or migraines.

Put cool henna paste on hand

Rujuta’s second duty is also a great beauty ritual. That is to apply natural mehndi or henna on the hands. This habit is now almost lost in busy life. Mehndi not only enhances the beauty of the hands but also has its own medicinal properties. It naturally cools by absorbing excess heat from the body. Not only this, the light fragrance of mehndi calms the mind, bringing a strange sense of calm even in the midst of daily busyness.

Strengthen the body with the magic of ghol

Ghol or mold is equivalent to nectar on hot days. According to nutritionists, ghol should be consumed at least two to three times a day in intense heat. Whey water is rich in protein, calcium and vitamin B-12. It acts as a prebiotic, probiotic and postbiotic. But its greatest quality is that the whey immediately corrects the electrolyte imbalance in the body due to overheating. Mixing a little salt, a little hing and cumin powder with this ghol with food improves digestion. The problem of starvation is eliminated, the stomach is light and the skin glow is improved in a wonderful way.
