‘AAP workers are getting calls from IB’, Arvind Kejriwal’s big claim; Said- Our people are being targeted
Arvind Kejriwal On IB Calls: Aam Aadmi Party’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal took to the social media platform ‘X’ But raising a serious issue, he claimed that the verification of his workers is being done by making phone calls on behalf of the Intelligence Bureau (IB). He questioned the validity of this process and said that it should be made clear what is the law behind it.
Arvind Kejriwal told that he himself called that number and asked whether the person calling was from IB, to which he got a positive reply. After this he asked under which law this verification was being done, but reportedly the call was disconnected and since then there is no response on that number.
‘Workers are being targeted’
Aam Aadmi Party Describing it as a serious matter, the National Convenor of the Congress said that such calls are being received continuously by his workers, due to which suspicion and concern is increasing. Kejriwal raised the question that if a person goes from one state to another for work then why does he have to go through such a verification process. He said that the Intelligence Bureau should clarify whether it is actually his number and under what authority these calls are being made. Kejriwal also appealed that everyone should call that number and ask what is the legal basis of this process.
This is a very serious matter. I called on this number. Asked – “Are you speaking to IB?” He said – “Yes”. I said – “I am Arvind Kejriwal. Under which law are you verifying?” He disconnected the phone. Not picking up the phone since then.

Discussion intensified even in political circles
Arvind Kejriwal Said that if next time he goes to Gujarat, he will himself go to the IB office and seek answers on this matter. He also told his workers that if they get such calls in future, they should share them on social media, so that the entire situation can be revealed to the public. He alleged that such activities raise serious questions related to transparency and civil rights. Discussion regarding the matter has also intensified in political circles.
