Gram Panchayat Kachnarwa main market of the local police station area has fallen prey to encroachers and chicken fish shopkeepers these days. Due to which the news has been published earlier, yet no attention was paid to it by the administration. A similar case was seen again on Friday where the people commuting had to face a lot of inconvenience.
In the same sequence, let us tell you that these days the road is being occupied by the chicken and fish shopkeepers at Kon Windhamganj Marg, Kachnarva Bagesoti Marg, Hospital Marg, which is not in the public interest. Local people allege that no concrete action is being taken by the administration due to which the morale of the encroachers is high and anger is being seen among the people. It is worth noting that the demand for freeing the chicken shop and encroachment from Kachnarwa main market has been being made for a long time, but due to the failure of the administration, encroachment could not be freed, but these days the life of the people has become difficult due to dirt and bad smell.
Whereas the famous Chief Minister of the state Yogi Adityanath has a clear instruction that meat should not be sold in the open in the state. Let us tell you that there is a strict ban on meat display. No shopkeeper can sell meat by hanging or displaying it in the open and hanging or displaying meat in the open at shops is completely banned. According to the Food Safety Department, it is mandatory to install thick curtains or dark glass in front of the shops so that meat is not visible from outside and it is mandatory to have a valid license from the Food Safety Department (FSSAI) to sell meat.
If this is not done, there is a provision of heavy fine, sealing of shops and strict action against those selling meat without license. People say that by setting up chicken and fish shops on the roadside illegally/without valid license, the road is being slaughtered openly. Where people get sprayed while coming and going due to which the possibility of fighting and abuse is increasing. Apart from this, people are afraid of spreading dangerous diseases in the area due to the foul smell of meat and fish. The local people have drawn the attention of the District Magistrate and the District Administration and demanded immediate ban on selling meat openly on the road and making it free from encroachments.
