Strict stance on admission and rejection in Bihar, now every situation will be settled in 15 days

Patna. Bihar government has taken a big and strict step regarding the pending cases filed and rejected in the state. The Revenue and Land Reforms Department has issued clear instructions saying that all pending cases should be resolved within 15 days in any case. After this decision, the stir at the departmental level has intensified and instructions are being sent to the districts to take swift action.

More than three lakh cases pending

At present, more than three lakh cases related to filing and rejection are pending in the state. Many of these cases are stuck due to minor technical errors or delay in verification of documents. The department believes that due to the process not being completed on time, common people are facing a lot of problems.

Strict instructions issued again

Interestingly, a similar order was issued at the departmental level on the 13th of this month. Now after strict instructions have come again from the ministerial level, it has become clear that the government is working on this issue on priority. After this, all the District Magistrates have once again been asked to dispose of the pending cases expeditiously.

Accountability of officers will be fixed

Under the new system, monitoring has also been increased on the role of revenue employees and zonal officers. If any error is reported in an application, it will be mandatory scrutinized. If wrong or inappropriate reasons are found, emphasis has been laid on adopting the process of correction instead of directly rejecting the application.

Decision to reduce strictness on technical reasons

The government has also made it clear that now applications will not be returned again and again on the basis of minor technical reasons. Officials have been instructed to examine the applications with a positive approach so that people do not face unnecessary trouble and the work can progress quickly.

Target set to complete defect check in 15 days

The department has set a target that defect check of all pending applications should be completed within a maximum of 15 days. Along with this, it will also be ensured that the applications which need correction are taken forward under the correction process instead of being returned directly to the applicant.

Common people of Bihar expect relief from this decision of the government.

This step of the government is likely to provide relief to lakhs of people of the state. Disposal of long pending filing and rejection cases will not only reduce the burden of files, but common citizens will also have to make less visits to government offices. However, the real challenge will be how quickly and transparently the administration is able to dispose of these cases within the stipulated time frame.
