How much amount can be withdrawn from EPFO account?
- As per EPFO 3.0 rules, PF holders can withdraw 50 percent to 70 percent of their EPF funds through UPI or UPI enabled ATM.
- Let us tell you that in most of the cases the retirement body does not allow the entire amount deposited in the PF account to be withdrawn at once and the entire amount will not be given in future also.

How much amount is required to be kept in the account?

EPFO had earlier kept the limit of automatic settlement for advance claim at Rs 1 lakh, which has now been increased to Rs 5 lakh. This means that now eligible claims up to Rs 5 lakh can be settled quickly and without much process.

Members can withdraw money from EPF account in urgent circumstances like medical emergency, children’s education, marriage, buying a house or constructing a house.

When will EPFO 3.0 come?
- Union Labor Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said that the testing of the facility to withdraw EPF through UPI has been completed.
- It is expected that this new facility will be started soon.
- Under this, members will be able to withdraw money using UPI payment system and the amount will be sent directly to their bank account.
