New twist in Ranveer Singh controversy: Will ‘Pralaya’ leave Mumbai and run to Hyderabad amid FWICE mess?
Mumbai: The war between superstar Ranveer Singh and Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has now taken a new and serious turn. After the ‘non-cooperation’ order issued against Ranveer, dark clouds were looming over his next film Pralay. Now the news is coming that to avoid this tough stance of FWICE, the makers of the film have found a way which can break the back of the local workers of Mumbai.

Now ‘Pralaya’ will be shot in Hyderabad or Noida, not Mumbai?
According to the report of Times of India, the makers of Pralaya are planning to shift the entire shooting schedule of their film out of Mumbai. Since 34 vendor associations of Mumbai work under FWICE, shooting there can prove to be a loss-making deal. To avoid this problem, the makers are now seriously considering taking the film to Hyderabad (the heartland of Telugu industry) or Noida. Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad has world class facilities, which will make the work of the makers easier and the effect of the FWICE order will also be neutralized.
Expressing deep concern over this, filmmaker Sanjay Gupta wrote on social media, if the production of Pralaya is being shifted from Mumbai to Hyderabad, then what will happen to the hundreds of workers who were to work on it? He further said that when a big star shoots, there are 300 to 500 workers on the set. In the process of banning Star, the organization is actually snatching away the livelihood of those poor laborers, which makes no sense. Now it remains to be seen whether Ranveer’s Pralay goes on floors on time amidst this controversy or not.
