The high-voltage drama that has been going on for some time regarding Bollywood’s much-awaited film ‘Don 3’ now seems to be calming down. This matter became heated in the entire film industry after the ‘Non-Cooperation Directive’ (Ban) imposed on actor Ranveer Singh by the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE). Many celebs were giving their opinion on this, but now the news is coming that the ‘Sultan’ of the industry i.e. Salman Khan has intervened to resolve this entire controversy.

According to a recent report in Bollywood Hungama, Salman Khan himself has contacted both the parties considering the seriousness of this matter.

Good relations with both: Sources said, “Salman Khan personally likes Ranveer Singh a lot. Besides, he also has decades-old and very deep relations with director-producer Farhan Akhtar’s family (being the Salim-Javed duo). That is why he entered this controversy.”
Advice on not harming projects: Salman spoke to both the parties and told them that they are part of the same industry, so resolve this issue wisely without harming each other’s career or upcoming projects.

According to sources: “Salman called Farhan Akhtar and explained that creative differences are a common thing in the film industry. After this, he also had a long conversation with Ranveer Singh so that his side and problems could be understood well. Salman is trying to make an honorable reconciliation between the two so that in future no one feels that there is a conspiracy against him.”

Salman Khan has advised both of them to sit together after the dispute is completely calmed down, talk face to face and find a permanent solution to it. Besides, he has also suggested both of them to work together on some other project in future.

1. Shahrukh Khan withdrawing from the film

After the blockbuster success of ‘Don 2’ in 2011, fans were waiting for the return of Shahrukh Khan in ‘Don 3’. Farhan Akhtar’s plan was to bring three generations together on screen in ‘Don 3’ – Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan and a new young actor. But in the year 2023, Shahrukh Khan distanced himself from this project. If reports are to be believed, King Khan was not satisfied with the script and concept of the film. After the historic success of ‘Pathan’ and ‘Jawaan’, he wanted to work only in commercial films that could attract the mass audience on a large scale.

He filed a complaint with FWICE (Federation of Western India Cine Employees) that due to Ranveer’s last minute withdrawal, Rs 45 crore spent on pre-production and preparations for overseas schedules was wasted. FWICE sent a notice to Ranveer Singh in this regard, but no response came from the actor. As a result, the Federation called a press conference and issued a ‘non-cooperation directive’ against Ranveer. This means that unless Ranveer sits down and resolves this issue, thousands of technicians, spot boys and daily wage workers associated with the union will not work on any of his projects.
