Petrol Diesel Price Today 30 May: Today on May 30, there has been no new increase in the prices of petrol and diesel, but concerns are increasing about another possible change. This is because despite fuel prices being increased four times this month, government oil marketing companies (OMCs) are still facing huge losses (under-recovery).

Petrol and diesel prices have been increased four times in May, resulting in an overall increase of about ₹7.5 per litre. However, according to a recent report, retail fuel rates in Delhi are still about ₹13 per liter below the estimated ‘break-even’ level required for OMCs.

This pressure on fuel retailers comes amid high global crude oil prices and ongoing geopolitical tensions in West Asia. As a result, the fear has increased that consumers may have to be prepared for further increase in prices in the coming days.
