In fact, on Friday, Lucknow Super Giants shared a post on their official X account and informed that Rishabh Pant has left the captaincy of the franchise. The franchise said in its post that Pant has requested him to step down from the captaincy, which the franchise has accepted with immediate effect. Along with this, the management of Lucknow has appreciated Pant’s contribution as captain and expressed gratitude for his dedication towards the team.

The reaction of Lucknow Super Giants Director of Cricket Tom Moody has come to light regarding Rishabh Pant leaving the captaincy. Moody said, “Rishabh came to the franchise with his request and we have accepted his decision with respect. Such decisions are never easy. We are grateful for whatever Rishabh brought to us in the dressing room as captain. Now our entire focus is on strengthening the team again and taking it to a better level.
