17 year old Surya Chauhan was stabbed to death by Muslim friends on the pretext of Bakrid party.

A sad and shocking incident happened on 28th May, the day of Bakrid, in Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh. 17 year old Hindu student Surya Chauhan was stabbed and badly injured by some of his old Muslim acquaintances. Later he died during treatment in the hospital. This entire incident happened in Khoda police station area. According to the FIR and available information, the incident took place on May 28 at around 3:30 pm in Sharma Dairy Wali Gali. Surya was roaming near the house with his friends Ayush and Vicky. Meanwhile, a person named Asad living in the neighborhood called Surya and called him near street number two on the pretext of Bakrid party.

When and how did the incident happen?

Surya’s friends told that Asad had told them, ‘Have you ever seen a goat being slaughtered? Come, let us show you. When Surya and his friends reached there, Asad, Nawab, Farhan, Atif, Sarik and some other youth were already present. The accused suddenly surrounded Surya and attacked his body several times with big knives. The most serious injury occurred in his stomach. After the attack, all the accused fled from the spot.

Old rivalry was the reason

According to the police and family, this murder seems to have happened due to old rivalry. About eight months ago, there was a dispute between Surya and Asad over a small matter. Keeping the same old resentment in mind, the accused attacked on this day. During the debate, Asad also abused and suddenly started attacking with a knife.

Injured Surya was immediately taken to Fortis Hospital located in Sector-62, Noida. His condition was very serious. Doctors tried their best, but Surya died during treatment. Initially a case of attempt to murder was registered in this case, but after Surya’s death, the police has also added the section of murder. The police have detained some people and started questioning them. Further investigation is ongoing.

Surya Chauhan was originally a resident of Sukhvabad in Etah district. The family was living in Navneet Vihar Khoda area of ​​Ghaziabad for some time. Surya’s father Kaushalendra has already died. The family now consisted of his mother, 17 year old Surya and a younger sister. Surya was a student of 11th class and along with his studies, he was also a supporter of the house. Family and friends are now demanding justice. He has said that Surya was not involved in any dispute, yet he was killed in this manner.
